what is on air
Public videos from the Internet Archive, playing as continuous, unpersonalised television. Choose a station and see what comes on next. Each session has its own sequence.
choose a station
Anything draws from the whole eligible air. Old Cinema has archival films and educational pictures; Music has performances and music videos; VHS has home movies and found tapes; Commercial Break has television ads and station breaks.
After Dark brings late-night shows, animation, paranormal programs, horror, adult material and internet oddities, with archival bumpers and trailers between programs. Individual episodes from an Archive compilation can appear separately.
Choose a station on the screen or phone tuner. Advancing finds another clip in that station. The power-off screen can start a new session in your chosen station.
safe mode
Safe Mode applies to Anything. It uses titles and tags and may miss unlabelled explicit material. After Dark allows NSFW, including sexual content and disturbing imagery, regardless of that switch.
share a find, catch the beginning
Share from the screen or remote to give someone a RND TV link to the specific clip. Longer clips can carry the moment you shared, and messenger previews identify the clip. An available link starts that clip under the current safety mode, then the air continues. An unavailable clip gives way to the ordinary air.
Press R on a keyboard or restart on the remote to watch the current clip from the beginning. The Air Log keeps original Archive links to earlier finds as you move forward through the air.
gems and air log
Mark a Gem to keep its title and original link in your browser. Turning the set off opens a receipt with clips watched, time on air, Gems and the Air Log. Share those totals with the site link, copy an individual Gem's RND TV link, or request the summary and CSV log by email. Starting again begins a fresh session log.
phone remote
Select connect remote and scan the code. The phone can tune stations, advance, restart, mark Gems, mute, share, read the Air Log and hide the screen overlays with DISPLAY. TAKE AIR brings the station, current clip and session state to the phone; hand it back when you return.

RND TV has no accounts, cookies or third-party analytics scripts and does not assign a persistent viewer identity. Gems stay in the browser. The traffic counter, short-lived playback journal, ordinary server logs, email delivery and requests to archive.org are described precisely in the privacy notice.
